You say, how does He do that? How does a child know to lift their arms to invite you to pick them up and to love them by meeting what ever there need is? When was that learned? How did they learn it? Possibly when they cried and someone picked them up to console them.
God wants to be the God of all comfort for us. The Bible says blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort those who are in trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. II Corinthians 1:3-4.
The Holy Spirit is the Comforter and is able to make all grace abound toward us that are in Christ Jesus our Lord. The Bible says, God is able to make all grace, every favor and earthly blessing come in abundance to you, so that you may always, under all circumstances, regardless of the need, have complete sufficiency in everything being completely self-sufficient in Him, and have and abundance for every good work and act of charity. II Corinthians 9:8 AMP
Did you know that we have a forever God? The Bible says, therefore,he is able to save completely those who come to God through him because He always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25 NLT. The NKJ version says, He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25. Romans 8:34 says, who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and furthermore is also risen who is even at the right hand of God who also makes intercession for us. I Timothy 2:5 says there is one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus who gave Himslef a ransom for all to be testified in due time.
The Bible says in Hebrews 9:24, Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands which are copies of the true but into heaven itself now to appear in the presence of God for us. The Bible says also in I John 2:1 AMP, my little children, believers, dear ones, I am writing you these things so that you will not sin and violate God's law. And if anyone sins, we have an advocate who will intercede for us with the Father: Jesus Christ the righteous, the upright, the just One who conforms to the Father's will in every way purpose thought and action.
Only worship has a way of making us let go of ourselves and reposition us to lifting our hands and gesturing as a child to be picked up and comforted and have every need met according to His riches in glory Philippians 4:19. We don't grow until we submit here first because now we are asking in faith believing. Then He gives us His power and authority.
Jesus had given the disciples all authority, but when Jesus was arrested, they all fled. They could not handle what He was called to do. But after they were filled with the Holy Spirit, they became like Him. And so it is with us. We are obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of truth and brings everything to remembrance of the Word of God, we too become like Him for as He is so are we in this world.
The Word intercession is a Greek word enteuxeis where one stands in the gap for others which is a priestly role of believers. It highlights the communal and selfless nature of Christian prayer emphasizing the importance of praying for others. Jesus is the great High Priest who makes intercession for us so that the Father sees us only through His Son. So when you decide that you want to make things right with God for your life by praying and studying your Bible, but want an encounter with the living God and have the heavens open to you, Church is the meeting place for all intecessors where true worshippers worship Him in Spirit and in truth for God is seeking such to worship Him. John 4:24.
I would love to see you at Church,
