Trusting the Lord

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 26:3-4

You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts You.  Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.

His prophetic voice Jesus Christ always speaks before the prophetic event.  “And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it does come to pass, you may believe.” John 14:29.

Now I tell you before it comes to pass, you may believe that I am He. John 13:19

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. John 13:20

John 7:37, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  38, He who believes in Me as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

Isaiah 12:2-3, Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. 3 Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Jeremiah 2:13 For my people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns-broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Psalm 36:7-9

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. 8 They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. 9 For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.

Acts 5:1-Ananias and Sapphira  conspired against the truth of the word of God when they agreed together and chose their on way holding what they could in their own cistern or well of existence to sustain them.  And because they trusted in what they thought could sustain them, there was  the judgment spoken that caused them to die, because they had nothing holy, the Holy Spirit to protect them from the judgement given because they had lied to the Holy Spirit. They had agreed with the darkness rather than to continue in the light of the word of God. The peace of God could not guard their hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. If they would have come to God first, they would have been given living water for their desires and they would have been comforted and Jesus would have spoken to them so that they might believe.  But they had gotten into unbelief. The Bible says: I John 1:5, This is the message which we hav heard from and and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.  7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Ephesians 5:8-10 : "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth. Test and prove what pleases the Lord."

· Here, Paul reminds believers of their transformation from darkness to light through their relationship with the Lord. Walking as children of light involves producing the fruit of goodness, righteousness, and truth, and discerning what is pleasing to God.

We are the temples of God only as we trust the Word of God and are filled by the Holy Spirit of God.  When we chose another way or a different well of life that we think will keep us, and not the Holy Spirit who knows the mind of God, we open ourselves to the let the portals of darkness and sin into our lives.  And ultimately, we hurry in death and not eternal life.

Let that sink in for a moment.  What is the first thing that people say when they are in a situation where they might die sooner than they thought because of a diagnosis or an emergency that could bring disaster?  They say, I don’t want to die.  And that is a statement of truth because God made us to live forever.  We are not supposed to die.  Your spirit is eternal.  It is either eternal in God, if you choose Him or eternal in hell if you don’t choose Him.John 8:12 : "Once again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.'"

If you have believed that you would live forever, there is a reason why you know that.  It didn't come from you, but it came from the Spirit of God.  He revealed that so that you would begin to search for Him according to the Spirit of Truth.  In order to find that truth, Jeus is the answer.  He gave the Spirit of Truth to us.  The Bible says whoevere confesses with his mouth and believes in his heart that Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead for their sin, your are saved. Say Lord, I give up my sinful ways and I ask you to come into my life and be my Lord of my life. Fill me with your Spirit of Truth by baptizing me in. the Holy Spirit. Thank you for receiving me as your child. I receive you now as my Lord and Savior.

If you prayed that prayer, heaven is now your home.  You get to know Jesus by reading the Bible which is the Word of God.  Begin reading the gospel of John, then Acts.  Get a journal and write down what speaks to your heart.  That is God speaking to you by His Spirit.  Find a good church that teaches the Word of God.  My Church does that.  Come check us out.
