Thanks be to God, Who Causes Us Always to Triumph

As a man thinks, so is he in his heart. Whatever we generate on the inside will manifest on the outside.

Jesus said what defiles a man is not what enters his body, but what comes from his heart. Matthew 15:11. So, if God is in you, then God should come out of you. God only works by faith in love. If faith goes in you, then faith should come out. But the thing that builds faith is the Word of God, which comes from the Bible. If one does not meditate and read His word, then he lacks the faith to bring out the good thing that is in him. It takes work to be faithful and no work to remain sinful.

Once you ask Jesus to come into your heart and to be your Lord and Savior, you were initiated into a war to contend for your faith, which is the only thing that pleases God. Jesus overcame sin for us by being the sacrifice for our sin, which he purchased with his own blood.

So today contend for the faith of Jesus Christ. Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. Be triumphant that you are no longer bound by your sinful nature because you have become a new creature in Christ Jesus! That's good news!

So be truly thankful today in this season of Thanksgiving and let the new man on the inside of you declare the goodness of God so that men will see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven!
